Made in Murfreesboro Photography presents:
Intro to Digital Photography & dSLR Cameras
This is our most requested class, and it is designed to explain to you how your digital SLR camera works and how to get the best possible photos in all types of situations. We take concepts that other people regard as complex or technical and explain them to you in a simple and practical way that will help you take better pictures.
Our students range from stay-at-home moms and high-school teachers to college students and aspiring photographers who wish to start a career in photography.
Meeting Dates: The first two Saturdays in February (2/6/10 and 2/13/10) from 8:30 to 12:30pm. Click here for Tuesday classes, which meet four times, and last 2 hours each.
If weather permits, we will also meet one more time for an outdoor, hands-on session (date/time to be decided).
Material Covered:
Teacher: Titus Bartos, founder of Made in Murfreesboro, and author of The Obvious. Titus also teaches photography at Rutherford Tutorial Academy.
Requirements: a digital SLR camera with a lens (18-55mm kit lens works just fine) and a memory card. We will talk about expanding your equipment during the class, so no other lens or accessory is needed.
If you don't have a digital SLR camera, and you wish to purchase one for this class, please email us at info@madeinmurfreesboro.com for a list of recommended cameras and lenses.
